Message From Our Office Regarding COVID-19
Dear Patients:
You are on our minds during this recent outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID 19), and we felt it is necessary to keep you informed of the procedures and actions we are taking to ensure your health and safety.
Our practice is considered a low risk environment, however, we take the well-being of our patients and staff as our highest priority and it is always best to take sensible precautions during a time like this. Please note the following in regard to all patient appointments:
- If you have any history of travel (or have come in contact with persons who have traveled) to countries where there has been a confirmed epidemic (China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Iran, Italy, Japan, and the US State of Washington), please call our office to reschedule your appointment.
- We have implemented a “No Hand Shaking” policy at our practice during the outbreak to help limit casual contact and ensure the health and safety of our patients and staff. Please know that we appreciate you and are always happy to see you!
- If you are experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness (cough, shortness of breath, fever above 100.4), we respectfully request that you reschedule your appointment at our practice until you are free from any symptoms for a period of at least 48 hours. We have asked our staff to do the same.
In addition to our already extensive level of cleaning and sterilization, we have supplemented these efforts with additional cleaning and sanitization of hard surfaces.
This is indeed a trying time in public health, but we also want you to know that we have some of the most stringent sanitization and infection control standards in any business, making our practice a safe place to visit. Should you have any questions about this issue, please do not hesitate to contact us.
For up to date information on the virus, we would like to refer you to the government website for the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, www.cdc.gov
Kindest Regards, Dr. Garth Fisher and his Staff
